Music is one of the biggest obsessions of Shruthi Haasan. And guess who is her favourite musician? He is Bollywood's most happening music composer Amit Trivedi. Says the elder daughter of Kamal Haasan, "I would love to work with Amit Trivedi. I think he is immensely talented and I loved his music in Dev D".She adds: "I was very much impressed by his work. Apart from Amit Trivedi, I have been most influenced by musicians like Bob Marley, Tori Amos, The Beatles and Bob Dylan." Shruthi, who is currently busy with a Telugu film opposite Siddharth, will soon be performing in Chennai with the Live Martini band. "Music makes all things beautiful. It is the food of life," she says.
