Samantha, Gautham Menon’s latest favorite heroine
Samantha did a small role in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya, which impressed its director Gautham Menon so much that he cast her as the female lead in its Telugu version Ye Maye Chesave opposite Naga Chaitanya.
She seems to have turned into Gautham’s favorite actress as he had roped her in for a bilingual. This film, which has not been named yet, will be made in Tamil and Telugu. Samantha is happy with the offer and is raring to prove her mettle as an actress in Kollywood. The shooting of this film is slated to begin next year, sources say.

Samantha who rose to stardom overnight after Gautam Menon's 'Ye Maya Chesave' has hit the jackpot yet again. This Chennai beauty signed yet another film with Gautam Menon now.
Being produced on 'Manadesham' movies banner, this bi-lingual will have Sameera Reddy and Karthi playing the lead roles with Samantha. Sameera Reddy too has been a favourite heroine for Gautam Menon. She played the lead with Suriya in ' Surya S/o Krishnan' directed by Gautam.
"This yet to be titled film is currently in its pre-production stage. It will be a bi-lingual which will be made in Telugu and Taml. The further details will be announced soon" said Ashok Vallabhaneni, producer of the movie.

Telugu actress Ileana cast opposite Ranbir in Barfee
The much-delayed casting of the second heroine - opposite Ranbir Kapoor - in Anurag Basu's Barfee is finally done.
It's Telugu star Ileana D'Cruz, who starred in the blockbusters Pokiri and Kick. For a while Asin was being considered, but reportedly they couldn't agree on the fee.
That's when Anurag Basu, who has an eye for new talent - he discovered Kangna Ranaut - happened to see Ileana's photographs.
"Anurag showed the pictures to Ranbir Kapoor, who felt Ileana had the same delicacy and grace as Deepika Padukone. He immediately approved and things were finalised in days, " said a source. "Anurag met Ileana and her mother and explained the role in Barfee, and also that Priyanka Chopra plays the other part."
While Siddharth Roy Kapoor of UTV - who are producing Barfee - said the other female lead will be announced shortly, Basu confirmed Ileana's presence in the film.
Interestingly Ileana is the third South Indian actress after Asin and Deepika to be offered the same role in Barfee. Anurag intends to put Ileana through rigorous voice and diction coaching before getting her to face the camera.
Said the source, "Since Ranbir plays a mute and Priyanka plays a woman often lapsing into incoherence, it is very important that Ileana speak clear and correct Hindi. That was the prerequisite for her signing Barfee."

Anushka impressed Kamal Haasan, wants to act with Anushka
Anushka Shetty is the most happening actress in both Telugu and Tamil. She is ruling both Tollywood and Kollywood with her glamorous and performance oriented roles. Anushka has paired with almost all current top actors in Kollywood like Surya Sivakumar, Shimbu, Chiyaan Vikram, Vijay and Madhavan. Now, if sources are to be believed she is likely to act with Kamal Haasan for the first time in the film titled "Thalaivan Irukiran".

Aishwarya Rai Kiss Scene in Guzarish
Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan raised their eyebrows on a sex scene of their latest film Guzaarish and reportedly asked director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to edit and tone down the steamy scene.
The scene where Aishwarya seen moaning while having sex was found odd taste by both actors and requested to edit some sections of the part. However Bhansali was adamant to keep the scene intact as he thinks its a important part of the movie.
If sources are to believed Hrithik, Aishwarya and Bhansali are in talks to edit some portions of it.
